Gwendolyn Carrico, age 70 of Kettering Ohio, departed this life on November 9, 2016. Gwen was a mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael D.Carrico Sr.; parents, Gertrude and James Monroe; and brother, Bobby Monroe.
She is survived by her children, Michael D. (Michele) Carrico Jr. and Patricia A. Saltsman; grandchildren, Michael, Joshua, Zachary, Brandon and Alec; step-grandchildren, Manny, Nicholas and Jacob; sisters, Lora Jean Flint and Debbie Baker; as well as several great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Gwen spent her life as a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was an avid football fan and a great friend to those that knew her. Gwen had a huge heart and gave all of her love to those around her. She will be forever missed by all and her memory will live eternally in the hearts of those that knew and loved her.
A graveside service will take place on Monday, November 28, 2016 at 2 pm at Dayton National Cemetery in Dayton, OH.
