Grover D. Davis, age 72 of Medway, passed away January 5, 2018. He was born on November 2, 1945 in Sabina, OH to the late Joseph E. and Mildred P. (Bloom) Davis. In addition to his parents, Grover was preceded in death by his brother, Randy Davis and son, Dennis Davis.
He is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Linda Davis; son, Dustin (Shawna) Davis of Sun City, AZ; son, James (April) Ballard of Tipp City, OH; daughter, Sonja (Owen) Masters of New Carlisle, OH; 8 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; brothers, Ronald (Gay) Davis, Wayne (Sue) Davis, Terry (Bonnie) Davis and Bill Davis.
Grover served our country in the U.S. Army from 1965-68. He worked and retired from ABF Freight Company after 19 years. Grover was not just a father to his own children, he was "the Dad" to everyone he knew and came across.
Grover was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend.
A gathering of family and friends will be from 5-6 PM on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd. A memorial service followed by military honors will begin at 6 PM.
