Gretha Lee Hendricks

Gretha Lee Hendricks, 83, of Dayton, passed away January 1, 2017. Gretha was born in Annville, KY on August 11, 1933 to the late Oscar and Alta Morris. She worked at Delco Moraine and Hewitt Soap Company but being a wife and mother was the most important job to her. She was a member of First Baptist in Kettering for many years. In her free time she enjoyed crossword puzzles, sewing and spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, Gretha was preceded in death by her loving husband, James Hendricks; daughter, Becky Hendricks; sister, Marie Cunnagin; and brother, Howard Morris.

She is survived by her daughter, Renee (Steve) Kennedy; grandchilden, Emily Kennedy, Hayden Kennedy; sister, Danella (Ron) Kastner; good family friend, Chris Albert; and several nieces, nephews and special friends.

A visitation will be held from 9:30 – 10:30am on Friday, January 6, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton, where funeral services will begin at 10:30 am. Burial will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens.
