Gregory Lee Stringer

Gregory Lee Stringer, age 57 of Fairborn, Ohio, passed away Sunday, August 8, 2021. He was born October 5, 1963 in Dayton, Ohio the son of Coy and Norma Stringer.
Greg was a loving father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He retired from the Painter's Local Union #249 after over 35 years. Greg was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing, hunting, golfing, gardening and watching NASCAR races. He was a life-long Cleveland Brown's fan. Greg never met a stranger and you could always count on him to help in any way. He was very loyal to his family and friends. Greg will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him and will be remembered for his kind heart and great sense of humor.
He is preceded in death by his father, Coy Lee Stringer.
Greg will be missed by his loving daughter, Chantel Stringer; granddaughters, Lacey, Lilly; great granddaughter, Annalise; mother, Norma "Faye" Stringer; sister, Carlisa (Arlie) Combs; brother, Chris (Kellie) Stringer; nephews and nieces, Dustin and Doug (Erica) Combs, Brittney (Brad) Rader, Shyann Stringer and Anna Mitman; great nephew and niece, Ryan and Carley Combs; many family and friends.
Family will receive friends Monday, August 16, 2021 from 11 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 12 p.m. at Landmark Baptist Church, 4242 Needmore Rd., Dayton, Pastor David Heltsley, officiating. Burial Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery.
