Gregory L. Mounts, a beloved jokester and a real character, passed away on October 9, 2024, in Englewood, Ohio, at the age of 62. Born on September 24, 1962, in Dayton, Ohio, Greg brought laughter and light to those around him with his stubborn yet funny personality. He had an undeniable gift for making others smile, often lightening the mood with his quick wit and playful spirit.
For 31 wonderful years, Greg shared his life with his devoted wife, Judy Mounts. Together, they cultivated a love that was inspiring and deeply cherished. Greg was a proud father to his daughter, Tasha Lee Mounts, whom he adored and supported in all her endeavors. His warmth and affection extended beyond his immediate family, embracing his beloved dogs, Molly and Daisy, who were constant companions and sources of joy.
Greg was born into a family that shaped who he became. He is survived by his mother, Rose Saylor, along with his siblings — Donna Madden, Mitch Mounts, Michael Saylor, LeeAnn Smith, and James Mounts. Each of them will carry forward his memory, holding close the countless moments of laughter and joy they shared as a family.
Although he will be dearly missed, Greg is preceded in death by his father, Wendall Mounts; sister, Carol Westondorf; and faithful companions, Phoenix and Lady. The bonds of family transcend even death, and they will forever remain part of Greg’s legacy.
His dear friends, Steve and Stacey, remember Greg's distinctive humor and the adventures they had together, serving as a reminder of the vibrant life Greg led. Whether out fishing or spending blissful moments with his pets, Greg's passions were simple yet fulfilling.
As we remember Gregory L. Mounts, we celebrate a life that was rich with love, laughter, and the simple pleasures that made each day special. His spirit will live on in the hearts of those who knew him, reminding us all to appreciate the joy of life, the comfort of friendship, and the warmth of family.
