Gregory A. Dague, age 63, of Dayton, after a courageous battle with cancer, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on October 19, 2023. He was born on August 11, 1960 to the late Arthur F. and Loretta Dague.
He proudly served his country in the United States Navy on the USS Fort Fisher. Greg loved his family and spending time with them. He loved his nieces and nephews, and enjoyed buying them giant bags of candy. He was an accomplished guitarist and would jam out on occasion for his family and friends. He will be deeply missed by everyone that loved him.
Greg was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur F. Dague and Loretta Dague; and his brother, Brian A. Dague.
His will be remembered by his sister, Shelly Malarky (Mike); nieces and nephews: Jessica Cheek (Creighton), Lindsay Dague, Daniel Malarky (Jordan), Jason Malarky and Kristen Dague; his fur-nephews: Robby and Dakota; and a host of grand-nieces, grand-nephews and friends.
A graveside service with military honors will be held at 10:00am on Thursday, November 9, 2023 at Dayton National Cemetery, Shelter B.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Greg's memory may be made to Bella Hospice in Dayton.
