BARNEY, Gregory, age 61, of Dayton, passed away on Monday, January 21, 2013. He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Dorothy Barney; son, Gregory Barney Jr. and his grandparents, Elvin and Leona Shumate. Gregory is survived by his wife, Helen Barney; son, Travis Barney; step-daughter, Nikki Jackson; sister-in-law, Donna Allen; grandchildren, Hailey, Zach, Courtney, Chad, Justice, Jimmy and Tyler; great grandchildren, Sophia Green, Sophia, Leah and Kelsey Bowen; siblings, Cindy, Kim, Bob and Rick Barney, as well as several nieces, nephews, other family and friends. He will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved him.
Family will receive friends from 12:30 – 1:30 pm on Friday, January 25, 2013 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek with funeral services following at 1:30 pm. Burial will be at David's Cemetery, Kettering.
