Greg T. Smith

Greg T. Smith, age 34 of Xenia, passed away Wednesday, October 13, 2021. He was born February 10, 1987 in Dayton, Ohio.

Family was Greg's life and he absolutely loved spending time with them. He will be remembered for his contagious laugh and smile. He cared for others and was always willing to help someone in need. Greg was an amazing husband, father, son, brother, uncle and friend who will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Greg loved to fish and hunt and was a member of the North Dayton Anglers. Music was a major part of his life and he never forgot a word in a song. Greg never met a stranger and even when he did they became his friend. He had an uncanny ability to talk to people.

He is preceded in death by his brother Josh Easter.

Greg is survived by his wife, Samantha; son, Thomas Smith; grandmother, Mary Dove; grandfather, Thomas Dove; mother, Angie Smith; brother, Tyler Smith; niece, Aundriahnna Smith; mother-in-law, Robin Kehl; father-in-law, Bruce Kehl; sister-in-law, Laura Kehl; brother-in-law, Clayton Kehl; best friend, Aaron Hudgel; cousin, Misty and James Trapp and children, Serenity and Mazie and many many family members and good friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that everyone enjoy time with their family outdoors in honor of Greg's memory.

Services will be held Friday October 29, 2021 at Bethel Community Church (1020 Lower Bellbrook Road, Xenia, Ohio 45385). A small visitation will be held from 5:30 pm to 6:00 pm with a service at 6:00 pm. Following the service a celebration of life will be held at North Dayton Anglers (1924 Valley Street, Dayton, Ohio 45404).
