Grayson Rudy

Grayson E. Rudy, 79 of Centerville, passed away at Miami Valley Hospital on Monday November 23. Grayson was born in Troy, Ohio on January 13, 1936 to Harry and Emma Showalter Rudy (Deceased). Grayson was a Graduate of Fairborn High School class of 1954. Grayson worked for NCR for 19 years, Frigidaire, and retired from RTA in 2000 after 19 years. Grayson enjoyed working part time at Walgreens. Grayson is survived by his loving wife of 58 years Alice Rudy. They were blessed with three children Beverly (Gary) Shaw of Xenia, Jim (Doe) Rudy of Xenia, and Mark (Amy) Rudy of Mason. Grayson had 10 grandchildren who were his pride and joy. David Shaw, Angela (Kenneth) Wilson, Dennis (Melissa) Shaw, Jennifer Shaw, Matthew (Jen) Rudy, Jon (Joy) Rudy, Megan, Kristin, Zach, and Alex Rudy, along with 4 Great Grandchildren Xavier and Henry Rudy, and Kaleb and Alivia Wilson. Grayson is also survived by two sister in-laws Patricia Boos of Coldwater and Nettie Boos of Beavercreek. Grayson was preceded in death by four Brothers Herbert, Donald, Robert, and Harry Lee Rudy. Visitation will be Friday, November 27 from 5PM to 7PM at Newcomer Funeral Home located at 3380 Dayton-Xenia Road, Beavercreek. A private service will be held Monday, November 30.
