Age 83, of Northridge, passed away Saturday, June 27, 2009, at Hospice of Dayton.
Grady was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Martha Thompson in 2006; his daughter, Margie Lipscomb; one grandson, Jacob Redavide; and by one brother, Brady Thompson.
Grady is survived by two daughters, Sarilda Frances Farley and Nancy (Dino) Redavide; one son, Joseph Thompson; eleven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; one sister, Nell (McKinley) Brooks; and by his extended family and many good friends.
Grady was a veteran of the U. S. Navy having served during WW II. He retired from 7-Up Bottling Company with 45 years of service.
The family will be receiving friends from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday (6/30) at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Rd, Dayton. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, with interment to follow at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens.
