Gracie Crego
Age 88, formerly of New Carlisle, went home to be with her Lord & Savior Sunday, July 29, 2007, while a resident of Day Springs Nursing Center.

Gracie was born February 1, 1919 in Wise, Virginia to Bill & Malissa (Gibson) Collins. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, George N. Crego, in 1999; and by four brothers & three sisters.

Gracie is survived by four children, Judy Crego Fultz of Harrogate, Tennessee, Harry & Barbara Crego of Huber Heights, Ohio, Roy & Alice Crego of Pearland, Texas and Don Crego of Kettering, Ohio; seven grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; two brothers, Raymond & Berniece Collins of Garrett, Kentucky and Harold & Nellie Collins of Kendallville, Indiana; one sister, Goldie Craft of San Pierre, Indiana; and by numerous nieces, nephews and many good friends.

The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., Thursday, August 2, at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton. Funeral service will follow at 7:00 p.m.
