Grace Evelyn Lyle

Grace Evelyn Lyle, age 86 of Dayton, Ohio, passed away Sunday, July 15, 2018. She was born January 5, 1932 in Knoxville, Tennessee to the late Earn and Ella Sams.
Grace attended the Woodland Hills Baptist Church for many years. She loved playing Scrabble. She had a feisty personality and loved good food. She will be dearly missed by all who loved her.
In addition to her parents, Grace was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Lyle, daughters, Janet Wilson and Sherry Mallard, sons, Lonnie Lyle and Charles Lyle and sisters, Virginia Ford and Linda Rogers.
Grace will be missed by her loving son, Donald Wilson; daughter, Debbie (David) Herron; grandchildren, Dawn, Tina, Chanda, Jess, Steve, Jason, Lonnie, Jessica, Lacy, Jess, Jason and Ryan; 13 great-grandchildren; sister, Shirley (Bill) Lane and many nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends Wednesday, July 18, 2018 from 5 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 6:30 p.m. at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, Ohio. A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, July 19, 2018 at Willow View Cemetery, 2500 Neff Rd. Dayton, Ohio.
