Szima, Grace C., age 88, of Kettering, passed away on Friday, August 30, 2013. Grace is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law: Joe (Jan) Szima & Carl (Betty) Szima; daughter: Joyce Pritchett; siblings: Margaret Ruthowski, Betty McQuown, Helen Pollard, Peggy (Stan) Moyer & Jim (Jean) King; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; and numerous other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Jospeh A. Szima; parents: James & Lucille (O'Brien) King; sisters: Ruby Coffey & Pauline Mathes; and brother: Bill King.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, September 5, 2013 at Newcomer Funeral Home – South Chapel, 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to either Oak Creek Terrance, 2316 Stonemill Rd., Kettering, Ohio 45440 or Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave., Dayton, Ohio 45420 in memory of Grace.
