Gordon Profitt

PROFITT, Gordon L. "Sarge" age 80 of West Carrollton, passed away Saturday, July 15, 2006 at Kettering Memorial Hospital. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 49 years, Ellen Profitt. He is survived by his children Gordon L Profitt II of Washington, Gregory L. and wife Christine Profitt, Laurie A. Profitt, Philip B. Profitt, Melody J. and husband Tom Richey, Paul M and wife Dawn Profitt, all of Dayton; 14 grandchildren; sisters Jean and husband Jim Benson, Janice and husband Ronnie Crider, both of Dayton; and a host of other relatives and friends. Gordon retired from the US Army after 20 years of service, having served in WWII, the Korean War and Vietnam. He was a member of the VFW Post 3438. Funeral services will be 10:00 am Wednesday, July 19, 2006 at Newcomer Funeral Home 3940 Kettering Blvd. Family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
