Gordon Max Thackery

Gordon Max Thackery, age 96 of Brookeville, reunited with his wife, Mary Eleanor Thackery on Thursday, July 9, 2015. He was born December 6, 1918 in Springfield, OH to the late Warder and Hazel Thackery.
He is survived by his friend and adopted son, Rick (Brenda) Horne; numerous grandkids, great-grandkids; his extended family at Brookhaven Nursing Home and his neighboring friends.
Max was extremely proud of being a lifetime farmer.
A brief graveside service will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, July 15, 2015 at Ferncliff Cemetery, 501 W. McCreight Ave., Springfield, OH 45503.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to The Hospice of Dayton, in Max's memory.
