BROOKS, Gordon L., age 76, of Beavercreek, passed away Fri., May 4, 2007 at his residence. He was preceded in death by his parents Frederick & Lovella Robbins Brooks, 2 sisters Freda Thomas and Dorothy Foxx, 1 brother Robert Brooks and 1 great-granddaughter Macy. Gordon is survived by his wife Phyllis, to whom he was married 52 years; 4 children Victoria Winget (Brian), Michael Brooks (Tammy), Katharine Kimura (Daniel) and Lorri Roberts (Edgar); 14 grandchildren Valerie, Vanessa, Chanel, Austin, Ashley, Logan, Lindsey, Weston, Whitney, Hansen, Katrina, Kaz, Kayleigh and Kelly; 2 step-grandchildren Christopher and Shanda and 6 great-grandchildren. He retired after 25 years of service from Ohio Bell Telephone Co., was a Korean War U.S. Marine Corps veteran and a HAM radio operator. Funeral services 10 A.M., Tues., May 8, 2007 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd. Interment Woodland Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 6 - 8 P.M. at the funeral home.
