Age 89, of New Carlisle, passed away Wednesday, August 5, 2009, at Belle Manor Nursing Center.
She was preceded in death by her husband and by one granddaughter, Gwen Cox.
Goldia is survived by one daughter, Arbutus "Beauty" & her husband, Donald M. Lay; two sons, Mack Bailey and James & his wife, Christl Mutter; a host of grandchildren, great (& great great) grandchildren; and by her extended family and many good friends.
Goldia was a member of the Valley Street Pentecostal Holiness Church.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m., Friday (8/7) at the Valley Street Pentecostal Holiness Church, 2605 Valley Street, Riverside. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 p.m. Committal services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday at Helton Cemetery, Honaker, Virginia.
