Goldia B Edwards

Goldia B. Edwards, age 94, passed away April 27, 2015 in Troy, Ohio. She was born to the late James and Minnie Back on April 15, 1921 in Seitz, Kentucky. Goldia enjoyed gardening, quilting, flowers and cooking. She and her husband, Charles sold vegetables at Yellow Springs Farmers Market for many years. Goldia is survived by her three children Ellen (Michael) Donley of Fort Myers, Florida, C. Michael (Wanda) Edwards of Jamestown, Ohio, Tim (Diana) Edwards of Union, Ohio; 7 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Charles Edwards; infant daughter Angela Kay and brother Green Back. Visitation will be at Newcomer Funeral Home Beavercreek Chapel on Thursday, April 30, 2015 from 4pm-8pm with a funeral service to follow on Friday, May 1, 2015 at 10am. Burial will be at Woodland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Easter Seals of Piqua, Ohio.
