Golden Peters, age 90 of Huber Heights, passed away Tuesday, June 25, 2019 at Traditions of Beavercreek. She was born June 22, 1929 in Wolfe County, Kentucky, the daughter of the late William and Lola Brown.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Peters; daughter, Regena Wolford; as well as several brothers and sisters.
Golden is survived by her daughters, Beverly (Ray) Wallace, Sharon (Donald) Sherlock, Cynthia (Thomas) Thomson; 10 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; sister, Edna Miller; best friend of 50+ years, Jerri Petrocelli; as well as numerous other relatives and friends.
Golden was a member of Sulphur Grove United Methodist Church for 50+ years, and was a Sunday school teacher for 35 years.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 28, 2019 from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm at Newcomer North Chapel (4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, Ohio 45424). A funeral service will begin at 1 pm. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Gratis, OH.
