Goebel Perkins

Perkins, Goebel C. "G.C.", age 68, of Dayton, passed away at his daughters residence in El Paso, Texas, on Friday, July 18, 2008. G.C. was a retired Sergeant First Class with the United States Army and also retired from the Texas Department of Criminal Justice. He was a member of F.& A.M. Millennium Lodge #779 Dayton and Scottish Rite, Valley of Dayton.

G.C. is survived by his daughter and son-in-law: Jamie (Oscar) Llamas of El Paso, TX; grandchildren: Alex, Oscar Jr., Juan; brothers and sister-in-law: Gordon Perkins of Kettering, Spencer (Wanda) Perkins of West Carrollton; nieces and nephews: Kim, Jay and Amy. He was preceded in death by his parents: Spencer Sr. & Nell Perkins, and his sister Delores Jean Perkins.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, July 25, 2008 at Newcomer Funeral Home (South Chapel) 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering with Pastor Tim Cox officiating. Masonic and Scottish Rite services will begin at 1:45 P.M. Interment will follow the services at Highland Memorial Cemetery in Miamisburg. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 12:00 P.M. until time of services.
