Age 48, of Dayton, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, August 16, 2007, at her home.
Gloria was preceded in death by her mother, Sharon D. French and step-father, John French; her husband, Dennis Jones; her grandmother, Minnie Ferguson and by her grandfather, Henry Lewis Lacey.
She is survived by three sons, Justin & his wife, Deadra Hatmaker, James Michael Hatmaker & his fiancée, Dionna and Daniel, Jr & his wife Adrian Hatmaker; her father, James C. Lacey Sr. & Mary Sayre; four grandchildren, John, Shawn, Jared, Jordan & Marcus Hatmaker; one sister, Bonnie Walters; four brothers, James C., Jr. & his wife, Stephannie Lacey, Jerry W. & his wife, Phyllis Lacey, Eric French and Clinton French; several aunts & uncles; four nieces, Twylla, Christa, Jessica & Shelby; and by five nephews, Brandon, Corey, Jason, John & Jerry Jr.
The family will be receiving friends from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m., Monday, at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Willowview Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions should be made in memory of Gloria to the family to be used at their discretion.
