Gloria Ann Jordan, 80, of Dayton, OH passed away on April 9, 2019 at Maria Joseph Living Care Center.
She was born on June 25, 1938 to Joseph and AnnaMarie (Buyer) Kohut in Dayton.
Gloria worked as a nurse for Good Samaritan and St. Elizabeth Hospital before retiring. She served on the State Board of Nursing for two 5-year terms.
She married Thomas Everett Jordan and they had two children.
She loved her family very much and the many patients that she cared for at St. Elizabeth and Good Samaritan as well as all of her many friends at Maria Joseph. She was an avid reader of many books, particularly mystery books.
Gloria is survived by her loving son, Thomas (Whitney Wedding) Jordan; grandchildren, Tyler Thomas, Troy Richard, and Trent Michael Jordan, and Kaitlyn Michelle Scandrick; and other loving family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, AnnaMarie and Joseph Kohut; husband, Thomas; daughter, Stephanie Ann Jordan; and grandparents, Andrew and Anna Kohut.
Graveside Service will take place on Friday, April 12, 2019, 11:00 am at Calvary Cemetery in Dayton.
Memorials are suggested to the Maria Joseph Living Care Center in Trotwood.
