Gloria Jean Adams, age 66 of Dayton, Ohio passed away peacefully on March 2, 2021. She was born August 2, 1954 in Dayton, Ohio daughter of the late R.E. and Irene Wyatt.
Gloria was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Gloria retired from RTA after 30 years of employment. She was the president of the Ohio Chapter of the American Payroll Association. She was a former member of the Elm Valley Fishing Club. Gloria enjoyed taking vacations and traveling with her friends and family mostly consisted of Tennessee and Alabama where her original roots were from. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
In addition to her parents, Gloria was preceded in death by her brother, Bobby Ray Wyatt; sister, Virginia Wyatt; son-in-law, Jason D. Riley; and special long time family friend, Ruth Spicer-Davidson.
Gloria is survived by her daughters, Dawn (Darren) Evers, and Stephanie Adams and their father, former spouse Chelsey Adams; grandchildren, Bradley (Tia) Adams, Corey Anderson, Cameron Anderson, and Haley Riley; great grandson, Colton Adams; brother, Ricky (Linda) Wyatt; niece, Tina Wyatt; nephew, Ricky Wyatt Jr.; special son, Justin "Shorty" Centers; numerous great nieces and nephews; as well as other family members and friends.
The family will receive friends on Friday, March 5, 2021 from 5-8pm at Newcomer Funeral Home (3380 Dayton-Xenia Road, Beavercreek, Ohio 45320).
A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 6, 2021 at 10am at the Funeral Home with Pastor Todd Hoskins officiating. Burial to follow at Valley View Memorial Gardens.
Memorial Contributions can be made towards Gloria's funeral expenses to Newcomer Funeral Home.
