Glenn Tingler

Tingler, Glenn G. Age 93, passed away at home on July 15, 2012. Glenn was a native of Burnt House, West Virginia and a resident of Dayton Ohio. He was the son of the late Homer and Alta Tingler. Glenn honorably served his country as part of the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II. After relocating to the Dayton area, Glenn began 28 years of service with General Motors. Throughout his adult life, Glenn was an active member of the leadership of Moraine City First Church of God, where he worshipped for over 54 years. Glenn was a beloved Father, Papaw, and friend, who will be deeply missed – his smile and laughter will be forever in our hearts. Glenn is preceded in death by his parents; 1 sister, Alice; 4 brothers, Blair, Cleo, Ralph, and Berlin; and his beloved wife of 57 years, Omagene. He is survived by his one son, Timothy; and two grandchildren, Robert Blair and Kelsey Erin, as well as several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Thursday 7/19/12 from 5-7 at Moraine City First Church of God, 5867 Springboro Pike, Dayton,OH 45449, with funeral service to follow at 7pm. Interment will be at Hardman Chapel, in Smithville, West Virginia.
