COX, Glenn, "Doug", 67, of Beavercreek passed away unexpectedly, Friday August 26, 2005 at Kil-Kare Speedway. He was preceded in death by his parents Conley Cox and Ernistine Cox, his brother Sam Cox, and sister Jackie Westray. He is survived by his wife Sandra Cox of 46 years, his son Christopher and Deborah Cox, two daughters, Lori and Steve Ward, Melissa and Greg Edwards, his brother Harold Ray Cox and sister Mary and Ken Myers, ten grandchildren, Ben, Sara, Keith, Kevin, Erin, Kerry, Molly, Jessica, Lyndsey, and Maggie as well as numerous other family members. Mr. Cox was a former owner of Fairgrounds Optical of Dayton, and was currently employed at Gemini Eye Care of Beavercreek. Family and friends may visit at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering, Ohio 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, August 30, 2005. A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Charles Catholic Church, 4500 Ackerman Blvd, Kettering, Ohio, at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, August 31, 2005. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to a charity of your choice. Expressions of sympathy may be made at www.newcomerfamily.com
