Pottle, Glenn R. "Rob" age 54, of Xenia, passed away May 6, 2018 at Hospice of Dayton after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
He was born September 13, 1963 in Dayton Ohio to Glenn W. and the late Cherye (Ellis) Pottle.
Rob was a veteran of the U. S. Air Force stationed in Zweibrucken, Germany as an aircraft mechanic.
He was employed for 35 years as a machinist; most recently at Norwood Medical.
Rob was preceded in death by his mother, grandmother Doris Pence, grandfather Carl Pence; mother-in-law Julia Wilson and his aunt Carla Mullins.
He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years Lisa (Wilson) Pottle; sons Sean and Casey Pottle; grandson Caleb Boblitt; sister Dawn Pottle; brother Craig (Becky) Pottle; father-in-law Richard Wilson; as well as many other family and friends.
A Celebration of Rob's life will be held Saturday, May 12, 2018 at 5:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, Beavercreek Chapel 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd, Beavercreek, Ohio 45432 officiated by Pastor Carol Henderson. A meal will follow the service at Liberty Worship Center, 1180 Upper Bellbrook Rd. in Xenia.
Rob's family will greet friends from 3-5:00 pm on Saturday at the funeral home.
Rob will be buried at a later date at the convenience of the family.
