November 26, 1930 — March 1, 2013

WELLS, Glenn Lee, age 82, of Dayton, Ohio, died Friday, March 1, 2013 at Hospice of Dayton. Cherishing his memory are his wife of 59 years, Joyce (Blackwell) Wells; daughter and son-in-law, Dorothy Anne and Emory VanScoy. He is also survived by his grandson, William Lee (Charity) VanScoy, two great-granddaughters, Saharra and Sabreena VanScoy and special family members, Lena Sloan and Jordan. He is also survived by numerous family members and close friends all over the states. Born in Jonesville, Virginia on November 26, 1930 to Virginia (Smith) and Ernest Wells and brother to Marlene (Arthur) Medley. Glenn was preceded in death by his beloved son, Gary Lee in 1972. Glenn attended Milligan College in Milligan, TN, with his interest toward business and finance. Glenn spent his life in the financial industry of banking and retired from then Star Bank as Assistant Vice President in 1993. Glenn was a Master Mason of the Mystic Lodge of Dayton, Ohio and a 32nd Degree member of the Valley of Dayton Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite and past president of the Cedarville Chamber of Commerce. Glenn survived during the Korean Conflict with the United States Air Force. He and his family are 40 year members of Aldersgate United Methodist Church in Dayton, Ohio.
