Glenn L. "Red" Hoover, Jr.
Age 79, of Vandalia, passed away Wednesday, January 12, 2011, at The Hospice of Dayton.
Glenn was preceded in death by one sister, Shirley (Hoover) Tiffany.
He is survived by his wife of the past 56 years, Carmela A. (Andreone) Hoover; two children, Glenn G. Hoover and Maria (Michael) Crumrine; one grandson, Ian Crumrine; one sister, Vivian Trapp; and by one special cousin, Betty Coburn.
Glenn was a U. S. Navy veteran having served during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the Tipp City American Legion Post. Glenn took great pride in his work as a pest control business owner/operator and always endeavored to provide quality results.
The family will be receiving friends from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m., Monday at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday at St. Christopher Catholic Church, 405 East National Road, Vandalia. Interment will follow at Maple Hill Cemetery in Tipp City.
