King, lll, Glenn Frank, age 67, of Beavercreek, passed away on Saturday, June 29, 2013 at Hospice of Dayton after a long and brave bout with cancer.
He is survived by his parents, Glenn, Jr. and Velma King; daughter, Kelly (Adam) Carroll of Reading, PA; son Ryan, of Beavercreek, OH; 3 grandchildren, Addison and Savannah Carroll and Jacob King; 2 brothers, Gary (Christiane),of Palm Harbor, FL, and Gregg (Mary) of Beavercreek,OH; 5 nieces, 2 nephews, 2 aunts, 2 uncles, and special friend, Rhonda Reboulet.
Glenn graduated from Beavercreek HS in 1963, then joined the US Navy and served for 3 years. After his military service he enjoyed a 38 year career first in commercial, then in Government transportation, earning numerous citations and awards for excellent performance in expediting material to the Armed Forces all over the world.
Known among his family and friends for his keen wit, intelligence and vast knowledge gained mostly through his love of books, Glenn will be missed greatly.
