Glenn F. King Jr., age 92, of Kettering, passed away Friday, October 7, 2016. He was born December 2, 1923 in Dayton, Ohio.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Glenn F. and Laura King Sr.; son, Glenn F. King III and several siblings.
Glenn is survived by his loving wife Velma; sons, Gary W. (Christiane) King and Gregg D. (Mary) King; 9 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and numerous other family and friends.
Glenn proudly served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He was active in his church and loved watching the Reds with Velma.
Visitation will be held from 9:00 am until the funeral service at 11:00 am on Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at Beavercreek Church of the Nazarene, 1850 North Fairfield Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432.
Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Park Cemetery.
