Glenis Osborne

OSBORNE, Glenis, 76, of Dayton passed away Thursday, May 15, 2008 at Good Samaritan Hospital. He is preceded in death by his parents Morton and Kansas (Johnson) Osborne; and brothers Leo Osborne, of Greenup, KY and Billy Joe Osborne, of Sandusky, OH. Glenis is survived by his wife of 53 years, Joyce Osborne; son Michael Osborne; daughter Karen (Donald) Achs; grandchildren Tanya, Erica, Marlena, and Jacob all of Dayton and Miranda Osborne of Jackson, OH; great granddaughter Isabelle Rose Lemaster, of Dayton; sister Betty Hamilton, of Beavercreek; brothers Orville Scaggs, of Indian Lake, OH and Wayne Osborne, of Greenup, KY; numerous nieces, nephews, and other family and friends. He was a veteran in the U.S. Air Force with service in the Korean War. Funeral services will be held 7:00PM Monday, May 19, 2008 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Rd. Family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00PM prior to services at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to St Jude's Children's Hospital.
