Glenderel M. Thompson

THOMPSON, Glenderel Merlean, age 79, of Xenia, passed away on Thursday, January 17, 2013. She is preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Minnie Richerson and husband, Claude Thompson. Glenderel is survived by her children, Shrell "Shirl" (Dennis) Skaggs and Sharon (Patrick) McGrath; grandchildren, Emily, Philip (Jamie) Skaggs, Andrew Shaw, Julie Skaggs, Benjamin (Brandi), Jacob Caywood, Alex, Reed, and Spenser Murray; great grandchildren, Andrew Shaw, Nicholas Skaggs, Brianna, Kaitlyn Caywood, Layla, Styles Shaw, and Lacey Skaggs; sister, Tina Cantin, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other family, and friends. She was an avid quilter and loved art. A memorial celebration of her life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Salvation Army, 1000 Keowee Street, P.O.
