Glenda-Madison Cole Burg

Glenda Madison Burg, born to Tracey Cress-Burg and Tebin Burg, entered into this world in Dayton, Ohio, where she thrived as a vibrant child and matured into a beautiful young lady. Our Glenda was called home to be with our Lord and Savior on December 27th, 2023.

She is survived by her Parents Tracey Cress-Burg and Tebin Burg, Grandparents Beverly and Bill Bursey, Grandmother Julia J. Hall, Tracey's significant other Lance Sales, and Glenda's life long friend/soulmate Louie Paddock. She is preceded in death by her Grandparents Edward and Ruby Cress.

Throughout her life, Glenda found passion in all things, whimsical, from bubbles to butterflies to her love of music. Affectionately known as 'Maddie', she was a proud graduate of Stivers School for the Arts, where her musical talent shone in the Chamber Orchestra as a bass player. During her high school years, Maddie was a committed member of Dayton Urban Young Life, finding community in Christ and forging meaningful, lifelong connections.

Continuing her educational journey, Maddie attended Wright State University, where she studied Psychology. In adulthood, she continued to warm hearts with her kind spirit, finding joy in activities such as crocheting, savoring sushi, and cherishing moments with her family and friends.

Maddie's legacy will be remembered as a loving, free spirited, creative and beautiful young lady. As we reflect on her remarkable journey, let us remember her lessons she imparted and the joy she brought into our lives. May her light shine forever in our hearts, and may the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, bring comfort to those who mourn her passing.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Sunday, January 7, 2024 from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton, where the funeral service will begin at 3:00 pm.
