Glenda Carol (Allen) Hollon, age 64, of Beavercreek, passed away Tuesday, July 2, 2013, following a lengthy illness. Glenda was born on September 9, 1948 in Martin, Kentucky.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Felix W. and Katie L (Meade) Allen.
Glenda was a Hair Stylist for over 30 years. She was so proud of her daughters and grandchildren, and loved spending time with her family and friends. Glenda was an animal lover and enjoyed traveling and doing hair.
Glenda is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, William Hollon; brother, David (& Janet) Allen; daughters, Laura (& Randall) Trusty and Christine (& Jeffrey) Shope; granddaughters, Brooke (& Matt) Baker, Blake (& Gary) DeBord, Aubree Trusty, and Brittney Shope; great-granddaughters, Shayne Baker and Lylah DeBord; and great-grandson, Christopher Engle.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 8, 2013 from 6 to 8 PM and Funeral Service on Tuesday, July 9, 2013, at 1:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Road, Beavercreek, Ohio. Pastor Don Godby officiating.
Burial will follow at Byron Cemetery, 3256 Trebein Road, Beavercreek Township, Fairborn, Ohio.
