Glen R. Jones, age 77 of New Carlisle, passed away April 23, 2015 at his home. He was born March 24, 1938 in Hyden, KY to the late Lee and Quillie (Holland) Jones. In addition to his parents, Glen was preceded in death by his sisters, Opal and Alta.
He is survived by his loving wife, Pat Jones; daughters, Rhonda Colwell and Sherrie (Tim Selby) Vondenberger; grandchildren, Josh (Chasity) Thompson, Jamie Haston, Krista (Travis Wells) Vondenberger and Brooke Oda; great-grandchildren, Brandon Thompson, Gunner Haston, Alona Haston, Ariah Haston and Brooke Haskins; sister, Edith Roberts; brothers, Charlie (Lola) and Robert (Clara) Jones; numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Glen was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting, fishing, bird watching and an all-around nature enthusiast.
