Age 71, of Brookville, passed away Friday, September 30, 2011.
Glen was preceded in death by his first wife, Sybil.
He is survived by his wife, Kathy Hawkins; four children, Scott (Jacqui) Hawkins, Curtis Hawkins, Ryan (Kacee) Rose & Lisa (Randy) Rose; three loving grandchildren, Jeordin, Morgyn & Zach with another expected on November 11; one sister, Mary & three brothers, Robert, Clyde & Lee.
Glen was a veteran of the U. S. Navy having served during Viet Nam. He retired in 1996 from GM – Harrison Radiator with 30 years of service. He was a member of the Brookville AMVETS Post # 99 and enjoyed woodworking, Bluegrass music and enjoyed his family.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, October 3, at Northridge Freewill Baptist Church, 4800 Payne Avenue, Dayton, Ohio 45414. The family will be receiving friends at the church starting at 11:30 a.m. Interment will be at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions should be made in memory of Glen to either the church or The Hospice of Dayton.
