Glen E. Bailey, age 83 of Huber Heights, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at Hospice of Dayton. He was born March 9, 1935 in Dayton, Ohio to the late George and Anna Bailey.
Glen was raised in Greenville, Ohio. He retired as a plumber from General Motors after 37 years. He was a past Master of Tippecanoe Lodge #174.
In his younger years, Glen enjoyed raising horses with his dad, fishing, racing Jeeps with his sons, Randy and Tim and was an avid scuba diver. Glen really cared a lot for his family and will be dearly missed by all of them.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Lori R. Bailey and brother, Paul Bailey.
Glen will be missed by his loving wife of over 30 years, Barbara; children, Randy Bailey of Englewood, Timothy (Teresa) Bailey of Trotwood, John (Chris) Baltes of Kettering, Monica Bailey on Richmond, IN and Ronda (Tom) Bennett of Tipp City; 12 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren.
Family will receive friends Saturday, September 29, 2018 from 4-6 p.m. at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton. A memorial service will begin at 6 p.m. with a Masonic service by the Tippecanoe Lodge #174. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Glen's memory to the Hospice of Dayton.
