Age 90, went to her Heavenly home on Firday, April 10, 2015.
She was born in Johnson County, Kentucky on February 28, 1925 to the late, Jay and Carrie Cantrell. She is preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Hughes and 4 children, Sandra, Jim, Teresa, and Michael.
She is survived by daughter, Linda (Richard) Layman of Sidney; grandchildren, Dana Woods, Shane Prater, Joe Hood, Justin Deisher, Rhonda Brady, and has made her home with granddaughter, Carrie Hughes and Ronny Denner the past several years. She is also survived by great-grandchildren, Samantha and Marissa Enright, Haley Denner, Dylan Prater, Matthew Godsil, and Matt and Jacob Ramos; sister, Jessie McIntosh; and many nieces, nephews, and a wealth of close friends.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 15, 2015 from 9:00 am until the time of service at 10:30 am at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Rd. Interment to follow at Valley View Memorial Gardens.
