Glady Harrington
Age 70, beloved mother & grandmother, passed away unexpectedly, Monday, May 29, 2006 after a brief illness with cancer.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph & Jeanette Shafer, grandsons, Eddie & Freddy, brother, Charles "Bill" Shafer, sister, Beulah Conrad, and nephew, Kevin Shafer.
She is survived by three children, Richard & Carol Harrington of Iowa, Ralph & Debbie Harrington and Jeanette & Vern Johnson, all of Ohio; eight grandchildren, Amy, Brian, Jamie, Heather, Rebecca, Danny, Leah and Miranda; seven great grandchildren, Ashley, William, Emily, Hailie, Shaylie, Alyssa and Dustin; two nephews, Donnie & Jeff. She will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her.
Funeral services will be held at 5:00 p.m., Saturday, June 3, at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton. The family will be receiving friends from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m., Saturday at the funeral home.
