Gladys Jennings

Gladys Louise Jennings, of Dayton Ohio, born June 19, 1914 in Ironton Ohio, departed this life on Thursday, October 27, 2011 after experiencing a long-term illness. She was the daughter of Anderson Crumley and Odessa (Shreeves) Crumley. Preceded in death by her sister, Mary A. Clark and parents. She enjoyed serving the Lord, cooking and traveling.

She is survived by her son, Richard Hawkins; grandchildren: Ronald and Darroll Cubit (Hawkins) and Vivian Majeed; 15 great grandchildren; niece, Ann L. (Clark) Johnson; and a host of other family members.

Visitation will be Tuesday, Nov. 1st from 10:00-11:00 a.m. and funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m. at Tabernacle Baptist Church, 380 So. Broadway St. 45428 with Rev. Dr. Ernest E. Graves officiating. Interment VA Cemetery, 4100 W.3rd St. at 1:00p.m. Arrangements by Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road.
