Gladys J. Swann

SWANN, Gladys J., age 69 of Moraine went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 22, 2006. She was preceded in death by her mother, Pearl Mitchell; mother-in-law Jennie Swann; and her husband of 42 years, Raymond Bruce Swann. She is survived by her father, Erwin Johnson; children: Reginald (Monica), Treena (Allen) Stevenson, Jerome (Doris) Frierson, Sherman (Charity) Frierson; grandchildren: Janaye, Reginald, Julian, Alexandra, Callie, Desirae, Gabriella, Jessie, Simon; special cousins Pauline Trammell and Juanita DePriest; and a host of loving family and friends. Former salon owner, she attended Tenn. State Univ., graduated from Central State Univ. and was a Dayton Public Schools special education teacher for 25 years. She was a member of Residence Park Church of Christ (4328 Hoover Ave.) for over 20 years, where funeral services will be held 12 Noon Monday, February 27th, Brother Gerald Wilder, officiating. Family and friends may call at the church from 10AM until time of service. Interment will follow at Woodland Cemetery, Dayton.
