Gladys Elizabeth Bowlin, 92, of Dayton, Ohio passed away on Wednesday August 13, 2014. She was born on July 24, 1922 in Jellico, Tennessee, to the late Lee and Iris (Lay) Ledford.
Gladys was also preceded in death by her Husband of 36 years, Ernest Bowlin and her Son, Roger Bowlin. She is survived by her Children, Iris Sell, Diana Phipps, Eddie Bowlin, Rebecca Johnson; 6 Grandchildren and 8 Great Grandchildren; Sister, Wanda Ledford; several nieces, nephews and many good friends.
Visitation will be from 4 - 6 pm Monday, August 18, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory (4104 Needmore Road, Dayton), where her Funeral Ceremony will begin at 6:00 pm Monday.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Miami Valley, 1948 N Limestone St, Springfield, OH 45503.
