Gladys DeMichael, 95, passed away on Thursday, January 25, 2018 in Dayton, Ohio. Gladys was born on November 30, 1922 in Clark County, Ohio to Ellis and Elsie Magill.
Gladys is preceded in death by her Husband James DeMichael, Sisters, Marjorie K. Bixler, Verna Jean Martin.
She is survived by Sisters, Edna L. Duckson, Mildred L. Duckson, Special as a Son, Robert L. (Joyce) Bowersock. Also, survived by many Nieces, Nephews and Friends.
Gladys was an excellent Bowler for most of her life. She served as Captain of her bowling team and lead them to numerous State Bowling Championships. She was loved by many friends and neighbors. She was a long time member of "The Eagles Club" of Robert Schuller Ministries at Crystal Cathedral. She worked as an Agent Cashier for the Dayton VA Center before retiring she served as Chairman on many committees. Gladys also loved to travel and went to many places in the world.
Family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 30, 2018 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Dayton South Chapel, 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering, Ohio 45439. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 am. She will be laid to rest at Valley View Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Miami Valley in Gladys's honor.
