She is survived by her sons, Harry E. Kistler and wife, Penny (Root), Michael T. Kistler and Robert J. Kistler; grandchildren, Amanda M. (Dan) Walsh, Angela L. (Josh) Adams, Aubrey Kistler, Sarah Kistler, Chris (Angela) Kistler, Acasia Kistler; seven great-grandchildren; numerous extended family and friends.
Gisela was a wonderful caring and compassionate person, whose door was always open to family and friends. She loved and wanted nothing more than to take care of and do for others. She loved to cook and all were welcome (she was an amazing cook).
She loved her grandchildren and spent every free minute she had with them. They were the light of her life.
Gisela also had a deep passion for caring and feeding animals both domestic and wild.
One of the last things she said, "I loved my life and my family and am blessed with so many wonderful memories".
Mother / Grandmother, you were deeply loved and will truly be missed. You leave behind a legacy of love and compassion.
Gisela's wishes were to have no funeral services. Donations may be made to the Humane Society of Greater Dayton, in Gisela's memory.
