Gertrude Hodge

HODGE, Gertrude, 73, of Miami Twp, passed away Thursday November 29, 2007. She was preceded in death by her parents, Elenora and Bernard Osterfeld; son, Stephen Michael Hodge and her beloved husband, Bill Hodge. She is survived by daughters, Gail (Jackie) Bolton, Sharon Hodge, Julie (Jim) Franzer, Diana (Jamie) Richmond; sons, Don (Connie) Hodge, Jerry (Nelda) Hodge, Doug Hodge, Bill Hodge and David (Madonna) Hodge. Gertrude is also survived by her 20 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren; brother, Sylvester "Tet" Osterfeld; and special friends, Kenya LeMaster and Heather Clift. She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish, Women's Auxiliary Knights of Columbus Council 3730. Gertrude was a loving wife, devoted mother, grandmother, and loyal friend. Prayer service will be held 9:30 - 10:30 AM followed by a Christian Memorial Mass will be held 10:30AM Tuesday, December 4, 2007 at St. Francis of Assisi Parish 6245 Wilmington Pike, Centerville, Ohio. Visitation will be held from 6:00PM until 8:00PM Monday, December 3, 2007 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd. Prayer service will be held 7:30PM Monday. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.
