Gertrude Hacker

Gertrude Hacker, of Beavercreek, Ohio, passed away on November 11th, 2022. She was born on December 18, 1928, in Manchester, Kentucky.

She was preceded in death by her parents Omer and Chloe (Hoskins) Gilbert; brother, Bradley (Loretta) Gilbert; sister, Opal (Bill) Hibbard; niece, Debbie Shull; and nephews, Darrell Bent, Bradley Gilbert Jr., TJ Hibbard, Chris Ehrnschwender and Mark Weinsteiger.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 73 years, Ray Hacker; and sister, Cledith (Don) Bent. She also leaves behind nieces and nephews, Theresa Bent, Ken (Nina) Bent, Regina (Jon) Amburgey, Diana (Gary) Witt, Janice (Johnny) Wyatt, Michael (Kathy) Hibbard, Connie (Bill) Weinsteiger, Mark (Heather) Hibbard, and 53 nieces and nephews of several generations.

She loved God, her family and friends. She enjoyed gardening, music, and family gatherings. She had a generous nature and anyone who came to visit would always leave with food or a gift. She will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by those she left behind.

Visitation will be held from 10:00am to 11:00am, on Friday, November 18, 2022, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, where Funeral Services will begin at 11:00am with Pastor Kyle Gulley officiating. Burial will follow at Valley View Memorial Gardens.
