Gertrude "Gert"D. Harner

Gertrude D. "Gert" Harner, age 86 of Springvalley, Ohio passed away peacefully on March 26, 2022. She was born January 24, 1936 in Chicago, Illinois daughter of the late Daniel and Gertrude McMahon.
Gert was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She retired from Xenia City Schools cafeteria after 25 plus years of employment. Gert will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
In addition to her parents, Gert was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Harner; son, Daniel Harner; and sister, Patricia Darter.
Gert is survived by her children, Donna (Steve) Lucas and Doug Harner; grandchildren, Daniel (Tracy) Harner Jr., Shana (Tony) Ramsey, Adam (Cassie) Lucas, and Kasie (Scott Calabrese) Harner; great grandchildren, Bryce Harner, Blake Mantz, A.J. Ramsey, Addison Lucas, Audri Lewis, Corbin Lucas, and Aurora Calabrese; as well as numerous other family members and friends.
Graveside service will be held on Friday, April 1, 2022 at 10:30am at Valley View Memorial Gardens.
