Gerry Wayne Turnbill

Gerry Wayne Turnbill, age 65 of Dayton, passed away Monday, December 11, 2017 after a short illness. He was born October 26, 1952 in Dayton, Ohio, the son of the late Johnny and June Turnbill.
Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Tommy Wayne Turnbill; and sister, Rannie.
Gerry is survived by his wife, Peggy; granddaughters, Cortney and Taylor; brother, Jeff; sister, Martha; as well as numerous other relatives and friends.
Gerry was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and served during Vietnam. He was also a mechanic and long-distance truck driver for many years. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to friends and family.
Services will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
