Gerone Luehrs

LUEHRS, Gerone "Jerry",(loving father, husband, and grandfather), 65, of Beavercreek, since 1971, passed away Tuesday, October 27, 2009 at Hospice of Dayton. He is preceded in death by his parents Clarence and Ada Luehrs and uncle Gerone Luehrs. Jerry is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Linda Luehrs; children Rick (Debbie) Luehrs, Jeff (Dawn) Luehrs, and Michelle (Michael) King; grandchildren Heather, Kaitlynn, Connor, Taylor, Glen, Julie, Christopher, and Rebbecca; siblings: Linda (Joe,deceased) Bourquin, Terry (John) Napier, Tim (Joyce) Luehrs, Christine (Jim) Davidson, Kurt (Terri) Luehrs; numerous nieces, nephews and other family and friends. He was a retired Machine Repairman from Delco Products in Kettering. He greatly enjoyed spending time at the lake with family and friends. Funeral Mass will be held 10:00AM Saturday October 31, 2009 at St Helen's Catholic Church, 5100 Burkhardt Rd, Dayton, Ohio. Father David Brinkmoeller will be officiating. Family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00PM Friday October 30, 2009 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd. Burial will follow services at Valley View Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton or Leukemia Cancer Society.
