Geraldine Tipton

TIPTON, Geraldine "Jerry", age 84, of Dayton, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Tuesday, June 7, 2016. She was born September 29, 1931 in Dayton, OH to the late Walter & Golda (Hinkle) Heyduck. She is preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Clifford G. Tipton; brothers, Walter "Jr." Heyduck and James "Jim" Heyduck, and sister, Eloise Burton. She is survived by her brother, George "Bob" Heyduck; daughters, Carolyn (Richard) Burke, Kathy Saujon, and Cindy (Gary) Feltner; grandchildren, Sarah Hurt, Jeffrey (Lisa) Loy, Rebecca Williams, Clifford (Judy) Saujon, Deborah Feltner, Laura Feltner, Tiffany Feltner, and Gabriel Feltner; great-grandchildren, James, Jon, Jeri Anne, Jacob, Jefferson, Jeffrey, Kamryn, Melovia, Miguel, Myles, Bradley Wayne, Bayley, and Beckett, as well as several nieces and nephews, including Dick (Sharon) Heyduck. Jerry was an accomplished seamstress and loved to cook. She made beautiful handmade gifts and helped raise funds for her church. She was most recently a member of the Dayton Knitter Guild. Special thanks to Dr. Czachor, Dr. Anim, and Dr. "Indresh" Venkatarayappa for providing care during her illness, as well as Hospice of Dayton. Family will receive friends from 4:00-6:00pm on Sunday, June 12, 2016 at the Spaulding Road Church of God, 1658 Spaulding Rd., Dayton, OH 45432. A funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Monday, June 13, 2016, also at the church. Burial will follow at Bear Creek Hillgrove Cemetery, Dayton, OH.
